Rachel’s Rules for a Fulfilling Life!
Rachel’s Suggestions
1. Have FUN – at every opportunity!
2. Don’t conform to others’ expectations – BE you
3. Let go of ego – Be Authentic
4. Worrying is a waste of your precious time.
5. Enjoy and appreciate what you have that’s good NOW
6. Accept that life is a journey and there will be ups and downs … but it all works out well in the end :)

1. A wise person once told me that if you’re not having fun, you are missing the point of LIFE. Of course, life isn’t going to be perfect all the time, because otherwise we’d never learn through our experiences. So when you have the choice to laugh or cry about something– choose to laugh 😊
2.Trying to live up to other people’s expectations is rarely going to make you happy.
If someone who loves you has expectations that don’t suit you – remind them that if they really loved you, they would want you to be happy!
If they don’t love you – then why are you trying to conform to their expectations anyway?!
3. Your ego is just your attempt to establish that you are a ‘worthy’ person either to yourself or someone else. But YOU are already worthy! So let that EGO go and just be the REAL you. You’ll find the right people in your life will love and respect you more when you are authentic – and it’s more fun.
4. When you worry about something that could happen in the future – you feel bad. So don’t!
If it happens, then yes, you’re going to feel bad then. But if you already felt bad worrying about it, then you’ve suffered twice!
And if it doesn’t happen you wasted time feeling bad unnecessarily!
5. When things seem bad, it’s even more important to focus on the good things that you have in your life NOW. Distract your thinking from the bad stuff – and focus on the good stuff. As Monty Python once said, ‘Always look on the bright side of life’.
6. We never really know what’s around the corner in life which is what makes it so interesting! But if you accept that in nature, manure can help thing grow and bloom … then it isn’t too hard to believe that if something stinks in your life now, it may be refreshingly sweet later!
